3:00 PM to 5:30 PM

**Attorneys will not provide free legal representation.

SPACE IS LIMITED. Registration is REQUIRED! Call (516) 747-4070 ext. 1308 to register now.

Currently, our offices are closed due to the pandemic, however if you email mortgageforeclosure@nassaubar.org, someone will get back to you within 48 hours with contact information for an attorney you can speak with one-on-one.

The attorneys will help the homeowner find out if indeed, they need a housing counselor, credit counselor or a lawyer, and get them in touch with available resources.

In addition to meeting one-on-one with a volunteer attorney, housing counselors, bankruptcy attorneys and representatives from other agencies, (which provide free legal services from those who meet certain income guidelines), are on hand to provide assistance. All clinics are 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and are held at the Nassau County Bar Association in Mineola twice a month. See list of dates for the next scheduled clinic and call for a reservation.

  • Reservations are required by calling the Bar Association at (516) 747-4070. Please bring your mortgage documents. Attorneys fluent in other languages are available upon request when reserving.
