NCBA Mourns the Loss of Hon. F. Dana Winslow

The NCBA mourns the loss of long-time NCBA Member Hon. F. Dana Winslow, Nassau County Supreme Court Justice (Ret.)

Hon. F. Dana Winslow graduated from American University in 1966 where he received his B.A. He took a three-year break during his undergraduate studies to serve in the United States Army, where he earned his highest rank as a Sergeant. In 1969, Hon. Winslow graduated from Catholic University School of Law where he received his J.D.

Winslow began his career in 1969 as an associate of Beekman and Bogue. He then worked as special counsel to Sutter, Moffat, Yanelli and Zevin from 1973 to 1978 before becoming a sole practitioner in 1980. Winslow’s judicial career began in 1991, when he became an associate justice of the Old Westbury Village Court. In 1996, he was elected to the Nassau County Supreme Court.

Hon. Winslow’s professional affiliations included the Association of Justices of the Supreme Court, and the New York State Bar Association.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
