Part-time Lawyer Assistance Program (LAP) Case Manager/Program Assistant

The Lawyer Assistance Program (LAP) of the Nassau County Bar Association (NCBA) provides professional counseling and peer support to lawyers, judges, law students and their immediate family members struggling with mental health, addiction, stress, and related problems. LAP conducts outreach and offers educational programs to NCBA members, law schools, law firms, and legal departments.

Under the supervision of the LAP Director, the Case Manager will support the Director and the Lawyer Assistance Committee (LAC) in coordinating the activities of LAP. The Program Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administrative, data entry, outreach and marketing, and event coordination.

Bilingual Spanish Lawyer Referral Service Coordinator/Paralegal

The Nassau County Bar Association is hiring a Bilingual Lawyer Referral Information Service (LRIS) Coordinator to work three to five days a week. The LRIS Coordinator assists callers who are looking to be connected with a lawyer or need legal direction.
