Bridge the Gap Weekend - Nassau Academy of Law's annual CLE program for new attorneys or those needing a refresher, January 223 and 24.

NCBA's 26th Annual Children's Festival - Thursday, February 18 at Domus 12 - 2 p.m. Hosted by the WE CARE Fund. This spectacular event, made possible by your contributions to WE CARE, treats deserving youngsters to a fun-filled afternoon including hot dogs, popcorn, ice-cream, DJ, clowns, gifts and other entertainment!

Hon. Elaine Jackson Stack Moot Court Competition - Tuesday & Wednesday, March 22 & 23. Local third year law school students battle it out in Appellate Court. Sponsored by Nassau Academy of Law and NCBA.

Law Day Celebration will be held on Tuesday, May 3 (May 1 is the official national day of celebration officially designated by joint resolution of Congress) which focuses on the American heritage of liberty under law. Liberty Bell Award, Peter T. Affatato Court Employee of the Year Award and Thomas Maligno Pro Bono Attorney of the Year Award are presented. 117th Annual Dinner Dance – Saturday, May 14 at the Marriott Uniondale. Join us in celebrating the anniversaries of our 50 and 60 year practitioners, as well as our Distinguished Service Medallion recipient John R. Student Mentor Luncheon - Thursday, May 26. Luncheon honoring volunteer attorney mentors and their student mentees.

Domus Open Golf Outing

WE CARE Thanksgiving Day Luncheon for Seniors, Thursday, November 24.

December

Gingerbread University -  9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Children of all ages decorate their own gingerbread houses. Upon successful completion of the course "curriculum," which includes having fun, graduating students receive a diploma as well as the highly desirable Degree in Gingerbreadology. All proceeds support the WE CARE Children's Holiday Festival for underserved children. Date to be announced. See Last Year Event Photos

Holiday Celebration
