Bridge the Gap Weekend - Nassau Academy of Law's annual CLE program for new attorneys or those needing a refresher, January 24 and 25.


NCBA's 26th Annual Children's Festival - Friday, February 20 at Domus 12 - 2 p.m. Hosted by the WE CARE Fund. This spectacular event, made possible by your contributions to WE CARE, treats deserving youngsters to a fun-filled afternoon including hot dogs, popcorn, ice-cream, DJ, clowns, gifts and other entertainment!

Hon. Elaine Jackson Stack Moot Court Competition - Tuesday & Wednesday, March 24 & 25. Local third year law school students battle it out in Appellate Court. Sponsored by Nassau Academy of Law and NCBA.

Law Day Celebration will be held on Thursday, April 30 (May 1 is the official national day of celebration officially designated by joint resolution of Congress) which focuses on the American heritage of liberty under law. Liberty Bell Award, Peter T. WE CARE Thanksgiving Day Luncheon for Seniors, Thursday, November 26.


Gingerbread University -  9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Children of all ages decorate their own gingerbread houses. Upon successful completion of the course "curriculum," which includes having fun, graduating students receive a diploma as well as the highly desirable Degree in Gingerbreadology.
