Mortgage Foreclosure Attorney
The Nassau County Bar Association, a not-for-profit organization, is seeking an attorney admitted in New York for full-time position working with Director of Pro Bono Affairs on mortgage foreclosure initiatives including regularly scheduled NCBA mortgage foreclosure clinics and mandatory settlement conferences including coordination of volunteer attorneys, training and advocacy. Applicants must have working knowledge of the NYS mortgage foreclosure process, including implications of 2009 amendments. Prior experience in pro bono programs a plus. Salary is primarily funded by the NYS Attorney General Settlement Fund, which is awarded on a year-to-year basis, with no guarantee of funding after Year 1 of the three-year grant cycle. EOE. Computer Consultant, Part Time
